Players usually have more than one holiday anyway. I think it was Hudson on twitter saying he was considering his third holiday before the season starts. Not many teams signing mass amounts of players at this time.

Considering the re-branding episode and the obvious effect on the club, you haven't given him a fair amount of time. Equally, this time last season we hadn't signed anyone, and that was with a non-existent squad and no huge distraction.

There is never much movment during this month as players contracts mostly end on the 30 June and players/managers are away on holiday.

This summer we also have the distraction of the Euro Finals.

It really becomes a chore having to explain this every bloody summer....

We got a free transfer goalkeeper for the last 6months what more do people want, more MM in the media with "Oh well we tried" while bigging that player up. Its a f*cking circus down there at the club you will see another 4or5 players names getting leaked in the next week from the club for the muppets to believe there on route
