So when Tan finally agrees to settle that particular debt - the naming rights will then be owned by the club.
It is highly likely that once that transferal has taken place - Tan will probably look to pay the sponsorship fee to rename the stadium.
It's inevitable IMO.
Maybe Carl or Annis can answer this for me, or anyone else that knows the facts. -> How much will it cos the new potential sponsor to rename the stadium - I remember a figure of around 9 or 10 million being banded around last year.
Anyone have some more accurate info?
And will it become the Cosway Stadium too - or will he look to use another of his Sub-Berjaya firms as the stadiums title?
What's the deal?

yes 9ml is about what sam will get if city do go down nameing rights road! so until sam is gone we wont do that but>>>>?
when he has gone we can sell for any amount we can get for it! man city to get around fair play rules are looking at 400ml yes 400ml for rights as it will be classed as income so is within the rules, but at moment its being scrutinised as some of people who putting in the money are also involved with man city at moment so against rulessum up when sams gone we can sell rights for whatever we can get for it!

VT has plans to generate TV revenues through the Asian TV Sports company he has an interest in and as Cosway is a major brand in Asia is will help him market that Asian connection.
How much monet the club gets is anyones guess but it wouldn't surprise me if a 5 year deal would bring in £9-10m.
Exciting times ahead.
