Seriously though, if we went up and stayed in the Premier League for the last 2 seasons, would the rebranding still happen?
Or was it the plan all along?
Vincent Tan said in his statement yesterday that he had never even heard of Cardiff City before 2009. To come in and change everything so quickly takes some bollocks. Fair play, that man loves money.
For the record I am not anti-change in anything it represents apart from the home kit colour/ badge.
I have a dream, of sitting down with my grandchildren to read Terry Grandin's 150 years of Cardiff City FC in the future, and as a little footnote, in Chapter 20 - The Glory Years, appears the sentence; In the year the Bluebirds went up to the Premier League, we actually wore red at home, imagine that!
