Do people really think footballers play for clubs becuase they want to, it does not matter what club it is money talks and in this case we couldn't match wolves offer and wages.

Irrespective of how much Malky has to spend, we cannot afford to get
into bidding wars cos once that starts, every player we go for will end
up the same way

Agent claims Iceland international will sign pending July medical
June 15, 2012
Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson: Has an agreement to join Wolves pending a medical
Björn Sigurdarson will sign for Wolves in a £2.4million deal next month, according to the 21-year-old's agent.
Sigurdarson has been linked with Wolves since the appointment of Norwegian boss Stale Solbakken at Molineux last month.
And a deal for the Lillestrom forward appears to have been done - on the proviso that the player stays fit until the end of their club season.
Jerry de Koning, the player's agent, claims Sigurdarson will stay at Lillestrom until July 13th with the Iceland international then undergoing a medical at Molineux on July 16th.
De Koning is concerned by the fact that it leaves Sigurdarson forced to play with the risk that an injury could scupper his big move.
"He was sold to Wolverhampton for three million euros, but if he is injured during the games he will play in Norway, he will not be offered a contract," he told Romerikes Blad.
"Therefore, he will play under a great risk. I think that everyone understands that Björn is in a very difficult situation.
Frustration
On Thursday, Sigurdarson vented his frustration on his Twitter account at being told to stay at Lillestrom until July.
He wrote: "I've just had a meeting with the board. They forced me to stay. Mentally destroyed."
Sigurdarson has scored seven goals in 11 games for Lillestrom so far in this campaign and the club's sporting executive Torgeir Bjarmann has outlined their position.
He told VG Nett: "We want to keep Bjorn for as long time as possible because of our position in the league table.
"We are third last and have important games coming up, so we will keep him."
When Lillestrom hosted Aalesund last month, Wolves boss Solbakken attended the match to see Sigurdarson in action, prompting an enthusiastic response from the player.
"I did not know that Stale Solbakken was here today. It's fun that people are interested and want me at their club. It would be awesome to play for him one day," he told VG Nett after the game.

You must obviously be the guys agent. And as I said I only want players that want to play for Cardiff City.... don't care whether that's Sigurdarson or any other player![]()

Let's get the blue peter badges out for footballers then, get f*cking real players have been bleeding clubs dry for years. It does not matter what club it is anybody who says " I only want players who want to play for us" must think its 1950 still where most clubs had local players. Money is all it boils down to we never matched there bid and I doubt we could match wolves wages either. That's that . MM will be saying how we missed out within 24hrs in the media, same shit from the club diffrent season.
Open your eyes you bitter mong. Not everyone is as superficial as you, and I like how you are stating the bidding process unknown to you as fact.

Do you know what a mong is? Or do you think its ok to even use that word, let's hope you get a ban for this. I just pointed out money is the key with players no matter what club it is, its there job just like anybody out there earning money or am I making this up.

You just used the word f**k. Maybe one day you will become infertile, or suffer with erectile dysfunction, and fully comprehend the pain of those who are unable to engage in such acts. You're so disgusting for 'mocking' these people by using that word. Maybe one day you will become one of these people.
(Not that is has entered the syntax of the English vocabulary as an insult or anything).
