why the black shorts?

Red I sort of understand, but what is the premise behind having black shorts?

Personally, I quite like the combo. Lots of red/white, all red kits already out there.

Well our first playing strip included black shorts and when we changed to a blue shirt we had black socks so maybe something to do with that. Although the Red shirt has black seams so probably a design thing.

Who Knows.

I would've liked the kit a lot more if it was red and white.
