Just so u know, I will not be asking for my money back as long as our name remains Cardiff City.

Any comments on this ?

Is it a good idea ?

If you don't want this rebrand, ask for your money back. The statement today shows they are aware of the discontent, for those who don't want the change but will grudgingly live with, now is the time to make a stand.

The changes to the kit and badge have been exposed to be the mere whims of Vincent Tan. There is no master plan, no marketing campaign, no lurking sponsor, this is a rich man doing something because he can, if you can't stomach this nonsense, fight back.

They have already made it clear they will speak to you first before refunding, asking for a refund does not commit you to receiving one but is does let them know how you feel in no uncertain terms.

Would I rather play in Blue? Of course.

Am I going to ask for my money back? Not a chance.

For the first time in a while, I really enjoyed last season, so I cant wait for next season to start.

Give it a break Annis!!! There's plenty of positive news for you to post this morning!!!

VT is not going to change his mind  ..I will honestly never buy anything with the beermat on. I will wear blue and always give my 100% support to the Bluebirds.

Cardiff City Stadium in my opinion will be named Costco Arena within 12 months and we will be marketed in Asia as the Cardiff Dragons

Peter if u dont like my posts dont read them, I am asking a question on what I have read else where.

Oh yes I remember u were the Gethin Jenkins fan, been quite for a long time, try telling VT about Jenkins.

I think if enmasse all reluctant reds contacted the club to ask for a refund, we'd be back in blue at home come August.

I am not suggesting for one minute that all those contacting the club for a refund really want one BUT imagine if 5,000 plus City fans did this over the next fortnight...

In my opinion Tan would quickly back down on the red shirts (he's already done it once) and he certainly wouldn't want to see the money he's already spent go up in smoke.

Call his bluff lads

Positive news? I must have missed that. All I've seen is no firm statement on converting debt to equity but a very strong likelihood that our existing debt levels will continue to spiral. Also, sadly it seems the switch to red is just a personal whim.

If you think that is positive news, you are obviously very easily pleased.

Re: " For those who want to make a stand "

So pretend you want a refund type protest?

What if the club call your bluff, it may suit them because when you do go to games then you will be paying top price for every game and let's be honest, if the team do well the crowds will come.
To be honest I would think this five year price freeze must be hurting them quite a bit financially, thanks to the Peter Ridsdale desperation measures he took.

Will you lose the guarantee to the five year fixed price season ticket which most of us now have, and will the possibly say that if you now want a season ticket then, you will have to pay the full amount, and if we do get into the Premiership, you can bet it will cost a bit more then.

I honestly believe, if we do get to the Premiership, we will have a situation like some of the bigger clubs, where they have a waiting list to even be allowed to buy a season ticket, let's all hope for that hey after what really was as short time ago in reality when we were lucky to sell a thousand season tickets a season, how times change.

Re: " For those who want to make a stand "

A lot of fans have re newed for this season and can't be bothered with the hassle of getting a refund. I think that ne xt year is going to be the test particularly if we have an average season. There will be no cup final ticket incentive and fans will be aware of the re brand which they were not this time around. I have a feeling that there will be a big drop next year, the figure being determined by how we perform this season.

Re: " For those who want to make a stand "

Its not over till the fat lady sings but in this case theres nobody to sing to that will listen so we are mere sheep for Vt as it stands to do what he wants, when he wants, when it suits him and fans soak it all up for nothing more than more LOANS to do as he wants to the club, so much for the rebrand for equity crap we was all made to embrace :(

Whatever happens, we are in red next year, the Football League will ensure that, we can't change now, the deadline for kit registration has passed, protest by all means, it's everyones right and choice, but it wont change the kit colour this season. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Totally agree with this view, next year will see how committed VT is to staying in red, and at what cost, but saying that I'm sure he knows that this year is crtitical and let's hope we have a real go for it and we get the players needed, I hope and honestly think we will, but I feel like that every year, that's why I keep coming back for more.

its sad to say die hard city fans walk away because of the rebranding and change to red but what happens if it all works and we have success and get to the prem and keep getting better as a club? will they come back then? and if they dont im sure there will be people queing up to take theyre place

Their not your post Annis!!!! They are other people's posts that you post and then sit back and wait for your faithful follower's to comment on!!!

Gethin Jenkins?? i dont think ive honestly posted about him!! correct me if im wrong!!! It was Steve Borley i commented on trying to have you as a puppet regarding the march with Risdale and you agreeing with everything he said!! You know the Steve Borley who put his hand up in favour of the Red kit

Re: " For those who want to make a stand "

Annis how do you know there is no "Master plan", VT is not going to tell anyone what his plans are no matter what seems to come out of City, we have only been told the basics of a plan, having been in business myself you don't reveal your plans to employees let alone members (fans) of the public

Alfie, I'm sure you're right. It's a shame so many are just prepared to let a minority shareholder flush our identity down the toilet without even a whimper.

I think the kit needs to be registered 4 weeks before the start of the season so still not too late to make a change :)

I'm sorry annis but your starting to sound like a broken record now! ... Your not even willing to give tan a chance to prove his worth even though he's pumping millions into the club YET you'd have sam back tomorrow even though he nearly sent us into oblivion. Sam was no better than rick wright in my eyes, promised loads but delieved fairly little and left us with nothing! ... f**k me these backers are REAL business people not mickey mouse clowns! ... COME ON ANNIS GIVE THEM A CHANCE! .... Seeing cardiff in the top flight was always my dream not watching rochdale and seeing idiots fighting on the terraces singing "stand up if you hate swansea!"

A brilliant reply to this thread i do need to add also that Annis you are trying to influance members to turn their back on the Club and yet you still say you will be at Cardiff City's games yourself next season and before you deny this i have seen and will trawl threads from the past on here were members are stating they will never watch the Club again whilst commenting on your anti red posts why dont yopu just see what happens in the new season and give the Malaysians a chance you were quick enough to embrace Mr Hamman's polocies for Cardiff City and look what state he left us in !!.

This is the Annis we all know. Quality stiff mate.

Why the hell should we stand by and watch this happen to our club? Ive asked for a refund and firmly stated my reasons for it and will stand by it until I get my Cardiff back.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When are people going to stop saying that Tan is pumping millions into the club..... At this exact moment in time, forget what MIGHT happen in the future as 'might' is a mighty big word, he is simply loaning the club money, getting us deeper and deeper into debt.

No matter how you try to sugar coat it, this could all end very, very badly if he doesn't get his own way, and we could end up in a far worse position than we ever were under Sam....

So whats my own agenda, other than wanting to stay Blue and keep the Badge I love ? 40 years of supporting them and I cant have my say.
Whats your agenda then ?
