It's only part of the identity. The badge has changed multiple times over the years. The shirt has too. The away shirt has been more colours than I care to remember over my 40+ years support.

I'm Welsh, and really proud of it. Red is Wales. I'm happy with that connection. Prefer it to English white

Did you even read my post? Sorry, please show me how I've suddenly become fan/supporter of the re-branding. Just because I'm accepting the re-branding, doesn't make me a sellout. I think you'll find it's a small minority who are laughing at you for believing in blue, don't tar everyone with the same brush.

I agree with that - I am behind VT all the way, but don't want to take the kind of approach of the op with loyal fans who are really hurting at this time.

My dear forever blue you seem to have an almost unhealthy regard for history,so lets go right back to where our history began,to a time when our ancestors lived in caves and hunted animals for food,now im sure that there may be a few on here,maybe you forever blue that would feel right at home living in a cave,not so sure about your hunting skills though,now the point im making my dear chap is that history is just that.................. History,we either adapt to new circumstances,new technology,new financial reality's,in short we either move with the times or we go back to living in caves

Not really no, every time we sell assets like land etc the only people that benefit are people on the board like PMG.

All this name calling just hardens my resolve.Its nice to see that most of the people on here can make up their own mind despite the cyber bullying.The idea of being called a plastic or a sellout just drives on my support for the changes.Like I've said before if it was'nt for the colour/badge change all this bollox about the finances would'nt even be that much of a point.When Sam came in nobody questioned what he was doing as we were all happy to go along with his dream.The issue of the club saying tan would walk away if he did'nt get his way was wrong but to my knowledge tan was never directly quoted as saying such a thing so he was probabley mis-represented in that aspect.But hey lets call him a liar and a dictator instead.All this tribal shit does'nt work you know.Your all pissing into a headwind.

When I think back through our history there are many things that have made me ashamed to be a city fan.... We were viewed for a long time by the football world as one of the 'scum' clubs because of our supposed fans who dragged our reputation and identity through the mud

Only in the last 10 years have I felt that we've turned the corner yet when I read some of the Neanderthal comments in here I realise that we're only a stroke away from a return to those dark days

What are you so proud of? Why is blue so important. We're Cardiff City ... The Bluebirds and we play in red at home and blue away....
