Agree. This tournament has been full of passion, its been great so far! The last worldcup in south africa was a fukin joke and made me turn off after the first round of games! Football tournaments like the worldcup should be left to countrys who actually take the sport serious and can generate a football atmosphere! The rest can share out a nice spectator event like the olympics.

So far 1 group has played 2 fixtures, and every team can still go through or out in the final game, exciting stuff.

I second the comment about the refs...other than a few moments in the first game with Poland v Greece, the refs have been virtually invisible...which is a good thing. Loving the grudge matches too, just wish they showed the 2nd leg in the streets tonight, big brother style...cameras everywhere watching the madness.

apart from the sending off of the greek player(im not even going to try to pronounce it) the refereeing as been very good.
