Rangers

"Same club, same soul, same history, same traditions. Different serial number at companies doesn't change what Rangers means to me"

Cracking quote. Rangers fans attitudes are spot on. Happy to support a lower league Rangers as the club is still theirs. Not all about glory, CCFC take note.

A sad day for football.

Out of interest, if they're put into liquidation and a new company is formed, does that new entity keep all the trophies won etc or will the record books start from scratch for them?

Possibly not. But you ask AFC Wimbledon fans about '88

The war wont be over if a wealthy business man/woman comes in and spends big. But it certainly looks over!

Well, lets hope the Malaysians know what they're doing and get more income for Cardiff in Asia!

It's not though is it.

Surely it doesn't need explaining. When the club is liquidised it ceases to exist. The assets if there are any will be bought up by a newco and a new club will be formed. Believing anything else is the same as believing MK Dons is Wimbledon.

In place of 'Different serial number at companies house' substitute 'shirt colour and badge'. Does that remind you of anybody?! Exactly! - you can change the shirt colour and badge of Cardiff City - but we are still the same club, same soul, same history and same traditions. Can't wait for the new season to start. :ayatollah:

Same tradition but now the home shirt is red. Yeah, red, blue what's the difference?

Purple.

Re: Rangers

Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:27 pm

as much as I hate Rangers, and I do like Celtic a lot, I dont wanna see Rangers going out of existence. There are genuie Rangers supporters (not the loyalist "up tae yer knees in fenian blood"-type) who feel with their club and are sick to their stomach to see them going down.

Re: Rangers

Tue Jun 12, 2012 7:13 pm

They can say what they want, but it quite clearly won't be the same club with the history etc as they will soon cease to exist. Of they want to claim to be the same then they can claim the debt as well, can't have it all ways!
