Owning a dog - Pros & Cons.

CONS

Your house stinks (everyone else knows except you).
Your house has hair everywhere.
Your clothes stink (everyone know except you) and they are covered in hair.
Their breath stinks.
They sniff your crotch.
They sniff other peoples crotches.
They drool on your clothes.
They lick their anus then lick your face.
You have to train them.
You can't take them in shops.
They bark.
They shit everywhere.
You have to walk behind them carrying a plastic bag of their freshly laid shit.
Some breeds are pre disposed to biting kids faces off.
You have to take them for a walk every bloody day.
You have to arrange for someone else to do it when you go away.
You have to pay for their food (which stinks).
Vets bills.
They die and you have to explain it to the kids.

Considering 60% of homes in the UK have dogs, I would say that dogs are part of our identity.
Even the Queen has dogs.

We have two cats, they are far less hassle. Admittedly they are selfish creatures and do not love you as much as dogs do but far far far more intelligent than the average dog.

My mutt Bartley is the dogs bollox. The most loyal friend a person could ask for (especially when i'm eating steak). He is great with the kids, barks at chavs on their skateboards and he hates cats and swans. He does stink and lick his nob but fairplay to him.
