TLG says that Alan Whiteley claimed this on May 8th and said it was "non-negotiable", yet on May 10th the Bluebird was introduced to the badge that was previously missing on May 8th, at the time of those two meetings the only people to have seen those badges were the few of us in the room and it was protests from those present that obviously negotiated the Bluebird onto the badge.
I think it is important that if you are given access to such information whether you feel it was a 'misfortune' to be invited you should at least report it correctly, whether you favour it or not.

Sorry Carl, can you clarify - are you saying that TLG has misreported what was said at that meeting on the 8th of May regarding the re-branding as 'non-negotiable'?

Adam, I am saying TLG stated 2 points in his blog, the first was definitely misinterpreted and the second was obviously wrong, well I suppose obvious to those who were present, as the badge on May 8th did not feature a bluebird but two days later it did.

So on what basis are they lying? Or are you just spouting nonsense. I hear people saying the VT and TG are lying about this and that but can never back it up with what the actual reality is behind these so called lies.
Far too many sheep on here!

in which he included a link to Carl's brief report on the meeting held on 8 May. TLG posted that Carl had said;
"Vincent Tan is close to agreeing a £100m investment in CCFC. But Langston has to be sorted first."
"The meeting was told that the change to red kit and Welsh dragon badge was non-negotiable."
However, the words "But Langston has to be sorted first" do not appear in the link TLG used when you click on it. The strange thing is though, that if you go to page 7 of the "Headlines from tonight's meeting" thread and look at the post by Maesteg Bluebirds at 8.49 am on 9/5/12, the words "But Langston has to be sorted first" appear in the quote of Carl's original message.
Now, in view of the claim and counter claims going on here, I think it's only fair that some explanation be given as to why the words "But Langston has to be sorted first" appear in the quote in Maesteg's Bluebird's post, but not in Carl's message when you go to it now.
Of course, if the club had seen fit to get this information out into the public domain beforehand instead of briefing selected members of the fanbase on it at a meeting, disputes like this would not arise.

Paul,
Those words 'But Langston have to be sorted first' were never written written by me.
Another point would be is that you were in the meeting, what did you hear?
