Over the years, England fans have supported their country in numbers, and they are never afraid to go anywhere. The distances in Poland and Ukraine are pretty big, but their support looked OK tonight. As others have said, more will go as the tournament progresses, and if England progress.

Just a shame that Wales are not there as well.

when I lived in cardiff I hated all the TV commentators, regardless if it was during England games or during the Olympics. They are too biased in their favour, sure to feel for your country, being patriotic, thats fine. But stuff like "OH THATS GREAT, THEY (other nation's athlete) FAILED, THATS BRILLIANT" is unsportsmanlike.Another one I like is "COME ON, DO US PROUD"...ffs I am proud of things that I have achieved personally, or my family. I dont feel proud cos a badminton player won his match...

englands support has changed into the ra ra face painting barmey army middle class that the premier league has turned the working mans game into. ccfc ha s changed that way as well
