Absolutely
Mon Jun 11, 2012 2:08 pm
put a checcky bid in
Mon Jun 11, 2012 2:11 pm
No, Id only want players who are 100% committed to CCFC.

People who say no need their heads screwed back on! He was quality for us but people only remember the bad in people. His goal vs q.p.r will live on in my memory for years! Yes he had his bad points but if he stays on his feet more i would take him back! The last game of prem he played vs man city when he ran the ball and held it up is a prime example of what we need! The abuse he got on twitter though i feel would stop him wanting a return but did anyone see the ayatollah vs swansea? Quality

Maybe a cheeky 500k bid would be enough to bring him back. Would be good bit of business on our part imo
Mon Jun 11, 2012 2:19 pm
I wouldnt want a player that is not 100% commited no matter who they were.
Jays general attitude at times on and off the pitch when he was here was shocking ,would he become a changed man overnight ?,to be honest, I highly doubt it
tremendous abilty especially at championship level, but i simply cant see him wanting to be here again

Unfortunately I dont believe Jay is the type of player Malky would play.

Spot on.
I think he'd fail Malky's recruitment exam in a big way

Without a dout!
I think Malky could give him that kick up the arse he needs and would make him a quality striker at this level!

I think your right boys.I'm sure I read somewhere this time last year that Malky had the option of signing him before he went to qpr but after consulting with various people at the city decided he was'nt the type he wanted. Not 100% sure though

I don't think he would want to come back in any event. He's in an area where hes always wanted to be.
Mon Jun 11, 2012 6:21 pm
please please please please please please

He's a better stiker than what we have now by a country mile.

Yea doing what hes always done in the prem sitting in the stands while playing reserve team football with the odd bench run out

Surely Malky would look at someone like him wouldnt he?
he cant have a yes man workhorse in every position - some flare and character (albeit bad character in Jays case!) is good isn't it.
jay needs us as much as we need him
both can take it or leave it

I'd take Jay back without hesitation. One of the most talented players I've ever seen play for the city.
Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:13 pm
What you mean Malky had the opition to sign him before he went to Qpr? He was gone. He failed to sign a contract and was gone on a free.
