Annis has the biggest profile here in the media i would have thought so why not him Then again what diffrence will it make daz we have been given something nobody wanted at all to start with and had no choice in it, so what will we get from it if we did have one bar are say on things, they dont give a f**k what we think thats clear as day now.

It was always going to be him if this is what the people hating the rebrand wanted weather he wants to do it or not who knows, i really can not see what it will achieve bar words and lets be fair daz every cardiff city fan had no say in this at all, polls, emails, internet talk was all bullshit they was doing this with or without us only this wasy it made them look like jesus to some fans the way they have done it

Gwyns worried about what might come with it which i get if people really go vs it , annis and most of us lot who hate this thing they have put in place think the clubs dead anyway bar in are cardiff city fc name so whats the diffrence to us go down fignting vs it or go down not fighting, thats how some fans see it tbh.

Daz,you made a great post here the other day that should have been made a sticky.What made it great in my view is that you put across the questions on everyones mind whether blue or red and you did it in a way that deserves answers.Out of all the pro-blue supporters I believe your way in that post is the best way forward to get the answers and assurances we all crave as supporters.And this comes from a man in the red camp at the moment-So my answer would be your good self.


PS-a warning though-as some have found out.Its not about bringing an honest and truthful message to some, its just about bringing what they want to hear and nothing else.Then you'll be lambasted.

I am flattered by your comments mate and if I had more time on my hands I would do it as I have done on other subjects close to my heart but I don't believe I am the man for this job.The blue side needs someone who the fans know and respect and someone who can put our message forward on a diplomatic and peaceful level without risking our future. I am sure there are many people out there who are more than capable of achieving this.My comments in my previous thread still stand and I hope compromises can still be made.

IRONY BYPASS, surely you can see he was being ironic suggesting me, but in truth I totally agree with the whole concept of this post, there should be someone who stand up to lead and be counted if that's what you want to call it (cue fans leader slating)

Lot's of people and we'd all expect that, are against the re brand, i'm one of them, but show me a sensible alternative option.
I think people are scared to step up and again understandable, if it all went tits up and the doomsday scenario did happen and VT out of spite said "f**k you, you turn down my offer, ok, I'm off you sort it out" and that is just a for instance,

What if it happened and the club did fold, would you want to be tagged as the man who led to it happening, f**k me what a burden to carry, I'd be suicidal if I thought I played a part in that, let alone led it.

But do I think it will get to that, I seriously hope not, but VT is very rich, very powerful, very unpredictable and very used to getting his own way, ask Gethin Jenkins our former CEO.


For a Blue protest group or whatever you want to call it, you do need a leader to organise things, the march that was set up and then called off last minute was originally called for by a seventeen year old lad.
Nothing wrong with that and fair play to him for actually trying to do something positive as he seen it rather than just sit at the computer moaning.

I didn't agree with a protest, and the first thing I would ask is what was it meant to achieve, but that is just my view, and a good leader could reply what it was meant to achieve, nothing wrong with healthy debate, it's the ones who can't debate and just resort to insults and name calling that have lost the plot and do little to help their cause.

All I was hoping for is the opportunity for a spokesman to negotiate compromises with the club,the last thing I want is the club to go under but as we know in business a little negotiation never hurt anyone and sometimes companies do listen and occasionally there can be a better outcome.At the end of the day I am just a fan with an opinion and live in hope that the colour blue,our badge and nickname can remain part of our football club while the opportunity for investment remains.

I would do it. Not in a militant way, but in a constructive compromise way. I feel we need a proactive approach to this and that a knee jerk reactive approach will not achieve anything. I would also if I was chosen , want to talk to members in a meeting to hear all concerns and ideas. Underline what we are trying to achieve, agree compromise and ensure a profesional argument is tabled . In addition two board members would be required to help maintain the campaign.

Tbh though, there is an inhibitor for my negotiating, in my age.

But hey in a few years I'd be wiling to do this. Linguistics and reasoning are my strong points, and I can balance an argument in an acceptable and passionate way.
