Are we able to get refunds on ST's?

Thu Jun 07, 2012 6:01 pm

I could really do with the £400 now and have no intention of supporting Franchise FC as it hurts too much already.

Will be sad as I've had a season ticket for the last 17 years, but the only way you'll hurt ruthless businessmen is their wallet.

That's what I'm gonna do...

I did consider doing the same as i feel so strongly about this, but just couldnt bring myself to do it...

I really wish i could because i agree with what you said, but i will at least never ever be in favour of these Malaysian owners from here on...

With regards to getting a refund, i think its fair to say you purchased it under false pretense so i would imagine fans should qualify for a refund, and if you cant, then kick up a fuss and eventually you may get somewhere :ayatollah:

The thing is mate, we need to stand together. We're not giving up on Cardiff City, we're taking the necessary steps to get our club back.

We have to hit these people where it hurts and when they only get 10,000 people for the first game of the season and after a couple of months the team are in languising in mid table obscurity, they'll come crawling back as they're primarily driven by money.

The changes won't last longer than a year as I think they've massively underestimated how much of a bad idea it is. But we need to counteract these radical changes with radical actions.

So I'm taking a break, until the Red goes away. I'd urge everyone else to do the same.

n what basis do you think you are entitled to a refund ?
just curious
the season ticket is to watch a football team play football, which you still will be, just because they are in a different colour shirt does not make a difference.
So I would say no, you are not.

Goodwill, I've poured thousands into the club over years and that's not including the cost of time I've spent travelling all over the country...

The least they can do is give me one seasons worth of ST money back, rather than torturing me with the circus they plan on serving up next season.

following your team all over the country is what its all about, the ups and the downs,
that is what being a fan is all about.

believe me mate i wish i could bring myself to, i really do, but i dont think i can

i dont care if people question how much of a fan that makes me, because i travel down on a train from Preston for EVERY single home game league and cup, and as many away games as i can, spending over £1000 on train fares a year which is money that, if i was sensible, i cant afford... so cancelling my season ticket would save me so much money over the next year which i could really do with right now but the fact that i still cant bring myself to cancel, as much as i hate these plans, just tells me that i would miss it too much if i did.

I've been thinking about this over and over pal believe me, i know i'm probably doing the wrong thing for the good of Cardiff City, but like i say, i just can't cancel :\
