Yes I suppose they do.
Its good that there is no leak from the club, but speculation is always good in the close season.

I noticed something on a foreign Twitter account claiming City have put in a €500,000 bid in for Rosenborg's Henriksen, but can no longer find the damn tweet.

It's probably rubbish, but there's a bit of gossip for you.

AW said in that Q+A statment that funds will be available to compete and attract top quality signings but wont splash the cash for the sake of it (I think he's using Leicester as an example)

To be honest im hoping its what they dont do, getting a player in now just to pleased the fans could backfire and cost us over a number of years especially if its not the right player(s). We dont want another Parkin draining our resources year upon year.

I thought they would have had an ace up their sleeves to take the sting away.....
