RULES ON NAME CHANGE.

Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:28 am

The club must obtain permission to change the playing name as stated here.

http://www.thefa.com/thefa/~/media/File ... 91-127.pdf

page 94, section L.

"A Club competing in any one of The Premier League, The Football League, The
Football Conference, the Southern Football League, the Isthmian League and the
Northern Premier League shall not be permitted to change its playing name (i.e. the
name under which the Club competes in a Competition), as recorded on Form “A”,
save with the prior written permission of Council.
Any application for a change of playing name must be received by The Association
Council will use its absolute discretion in deciding whether to approve a change in a
Club’s playing name."

This would never be approved.

to be fair, i dont think they have ever planned to change the name of cardiff city fc.

i still cant get my head around how the changing the kit colour is going to be of a benefit..

its whats done on the pitch that counts, and our current squad is no where near good enough.....
