Actually blue is the current away strip, yellow and black is the current home strip in honour of a tiger, the symbol of the Malaysian National football team and was first worn in 1920 and was also worn by the great 1970s team that reached 75th in the FIFA rankings. Perhaps if they did play in red then they would be higher than their current ranking of 153rd in the World.

Whilst considered to be lucky in Malaysia, the colour red is considered to be very lucky in China where the flag and all natonal strips are red and that is the market we are aiming at.
