why can't some people understand that a lot of fans would support Cardiff (and go to games) no matter what division they were in, be that the Premier League or Blue Square Prem, if it meant not compromising our traditions and identity!

i would much prefer to support Cardiff in blue in the Championship, than in red as Champions of Europe! success isn't everything when it comes to the enjoyment of supporting your club!

If i did choose to cancel my season ticket renewal for next season, i wouldnt just hop back on board if we got promoted, because it'd have been a decision i'd thought long and hard about to cancel in the first place, and i'm sure its the same for alot of other fans...

at the end of the day, i'll carry on attending all home games next season im sure, but it will feel like im supporting a totally new club i can imagine, and it's going to be very, very hard to take after such a long time supporting the club ive come to love as it is...

Piss off! I can't stand people like you who choose to gloat about us changing to red instead of respecting the opinions of those against the changes! Would you be for the changes if the 100 million figure wasn't quoted? We will not spend more than Leicester or West Ham did last season in my opinion, West Ham only just managed to go up and Leicester missed the playoffs altogether! If these changes takes place and we still fail to go up despite spending millions like Leicester did last season, it will be interesting to see if you're still gloating then! I will never understand those prepared to go along with us losing everything that resembles our club, the only thing left will be our name. But I still respect everyones opinions, we are all City fans at the end of the day with differing feelings and opinions!

and even if we did, you make a good point about would people still accept the proposals without the 100m quote...

it just seems like alot of our fans are happy to glory hunt and compromise the clubs identity for success, personally id rather take far longer to achieve it without having to change our club at all

Plastics ? Selling our soul ? Not my club in red ? They were , are and always will be Cardiff City OUR club - does not matter what colour what badge who the money men are Cardiff City is OUR club. Wear any colour shirt and sew on any badge you want just get behind OUR club.
