WE WONT LOSE OUR IDENTITY NOW... OR EVER

Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:08 pm

ok Yes initially bad news,

but is it really bad news?

we are in massive amounts of debt we need this 100m to allow the club to keep competing at the elite level the way the game is going.
look at the bigger picture if the malaysians were to leave and we went into administration we could again risk our identity and position in the football league which would be far worse than temporarily going into a red kit...

you have to ask yourselves how much do we care about our club? we have to accept the fact football is a rich mans game and we cant get away from it, we can either stubbornly turn our noses up and hold ground and lose the investment needed to sustain premier league football.
and be happy with being debt ridden and forever dissapointed. Or we can adapt and move with the times, we know who we are, we are still cardiff city.

lets remember, we are all here for life as supporters - they are not, the malaysians wont be here forever, just like sam and his badge change, it didnt last
the coulor red wont last forever, we will revert back to blue several years down the line once the malaysians have bought out and its no longer relevent to play in Red.
but we will fully benifit financially for making a small change for a few years

WHICH MIGHT INEVITABLY SAVE THE EXISTANCE OF CARDIFF CITY FOOTBALL CLUB,

SERIOUSLY NOW, SURELY SOME OF US CAN SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE?
HE'S NOT ASKING US TO SELL OUR SOULS
HE JUST WANTS TIME TO MAKE BACK THE REVENUE IN ASIA AND BUILD A PROFILE, EVEN IF ITS 10 YEARS, IT WILL TAKE THE FOOTBALL TO FAR MORE EXCITING PLACES THEN BEING DEBT RIDDEN...

I SAY WE TAKE THE GAMBLE WITH OUR INTERESTS AT HEART FULLY PLEDGED ON RETURNING BLUE ONE DAY
