Is CCFC the most divided club?

Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:06 pm

I have seen the opinions on here over the last few weeks about the rebranding and think that its strange that as fans we are so divided. My opinion before anyone asks is blue always has been and always should be.

On one side we have the "oh my god we must bend over and take whatever the malaysians give us as they MIGHT invest money that COULD get us to the premier league". Whwre is the proof that this will become a reality?

On the other side we have the "I would rather stay blue and play non-league football than sell us down the river". Where is the proof that this would be the outcome of a refusal of the rebrand?

Where is the group of fans that have an opinion somewhere between these two as they seem to have been lacking over the last few weeks?

What eveidence do we have for either side other than a few wishy washy statements from the club that have basically told us naff all?

The leaks are not helping the club except to stir the fans up over whatever issue is currewntly brewing. A few sackings would solve that and if they were my stafff thats exactly what would happen.

All I have seen for the last month is fans (some of whom i had a lot more respect for before this) trying to score points off each other without any proof that what they believe is right. That is not good for the club WHATEVER happens ultimately.

There has definetly been a divide and conquer strategy from the malaysians and looking at this forum its working out much better than they could ever have hoped for.

I honestly hope the malaysians honour their word and we play in blue next season , if they don't and they decide it's red then a lot of people have some soul searching to do on here. If they lied about us being blue this year and changed their mind to red what else are they going to lie to us about?

I am not anti-malaysian before anyone starts but they havent done a lot to endear themselves to the fans over the last few weeks and lying to them over the rebranding u-turn isn't going to win them popularity contests.

What everyone needs to do tomorrow once an "official annoucement" comes out is look at what it contains and weigh it up against what has been said recently and without following like sheep make your own mind up if you trust / believe in what they say or not.

A very interesting 24 hours awaits.
