what if the next investment had another clause in it...

Tue Jun 05, 2012 10:56 pm

That the club would have to change its name.

Would the pro-Red supporters welcome this too ?

My point being is at what point would you lot say 'no' ?

Stop attention seeking for f**k sake.

If they changed the name Cardiff City FC to something else, then I wouldn't support them, simply cause they've then changed their identity.

And what if their line then was 'accept it or die' ?

It's not attention seeking its being realistic!!! As someone said on another post, they haveput the support into a catch 22 situation so what will the next catch 22 situation be ? Let's be honest with the rate of losses the club is losing the next needed investment may not be that far away

Like I said, if they changed the NAME of the club from Cardiff City to something else, I wouldn't support them.

If they tried to change the name of the club is were I would draw the line. Its not just the name of the club, its also the name of the city it represents. The city I was born and raised in. changing the name Cardiff city fc would be a step to far for me.

What if an atomic bomb was dropped on Wales!! :o

FFS!

I do believe the FA have sanctions in place to stop any club changing its name. (ever since Wimbledon I think?)

I am fully behind the proposal but can say 100% if they changed the name and it was no longer Cardiff City then I would no longer support them. It's never going to happen and as has been said before there are now rules in place which prevents clubs changing names after the MK Dons fiasco

Okay, okay, so the answer is?

They own the club.

Unless a City fan can stump up circa £100m to take us forward?

Just a question. :dontknow: :dontknow:

I think they're just going with the old rumours that came about weeks ago.

I doubt they know anything new apart from it going through.

The only clause i'd like in any contract red or blue is that Adam "Mr Plastic" Brown is BANNED from all future Cardiff City matches with immediate effect.

Okay Steve, agree with that on lots of levels.

However, these could leave us in a bigger mess than ever before because of their investment.
These could also leave us in a much better situation than this club has ever known.
As business men, these leave anyone we have ever had in the past, so deep in the shade, the sun has never shined in the same universe! (You cannot disagree on that)
I believe that they will take CCFC to great heights. (with no name change lol)
Yes I wish it was in Blue and yes I wish to keep the same badge, but it ain't going to happen
Pick and shovel for me next season mate. Saturday, on the train, few sherbuts in town, a few more in canton etc.
The colour of a shirt is not going to change what I like doing mate. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
