I will feel great knowing all of them got lied to with TG open letter and still believed they was getting everything just like the last two seasons of close calls but squad was never good enough and no players to push on when we needed them but for some reason they think red will get us there, only theres a supposed carrot on the string this time so it must be true.

Why not go for last season then??? jan was the time to push on was it not after being so close to top. Same thing, League rules kick in next year then what fines galore if we dont go up so next season it has to be due to are overheads still :ayatollah:

I didnt say next season but either way you cannot keep blowing 15-20 million a season Lee and there is no guarantee

Personally don't think promotion is inevitable. Think Malky has probably got two shots at it before Malaysians cut their losses. I think they will mortgage stadium and new training facilities to get most of their money back and leave the club in huge debt if we aren't promoted in next two seasons.

Genuine question to those in the Red Camp.

How are you going to deal with the games against Bristol City.

When we play them at home are you realy going to feel comfortable singing Red Army, or come on
you reds, knowing that is what our rivals sing and have done for years whilst we have sung Blue Army.

They weren't majority owners then mate, If this investment takes off they will be.They are already paying 1.2 million a month to keep us afloat.Where were the other board members in January with their investment towards players.
I rest my case

Most of the newbies havent got a clue about rivalry so it wont concern them.

Polo if anyone thinks changing colour and investment guarantees success then they are wrong.

To sustain the club and then move the club forward though we need investment and big investment off the field as well as on it.

Tricky question for sure because I can't stand Bristol City and dislike them more than Swansea.

But we can't gamble with the clubs future just because of one game so for me we will have to put up with the discomfort.

That said we are going to get loads of stick from away fans over our change in club colours right throughout the season.

Luke I think some feel we only have to change to red and its a formality.

Leicester threw a lot if money at it (Without changing colour I might add) and they were nowhere to be seen.

They may or may not be right.
Leicester an obvious example as you pointed out. Spending money is only benifitial if you spend it on the right players and have the right manager.

Some people seem to think that promotion is a certainty, but football is not like that. CCFC could just as easily be in League 1 as the Premier League. The Malaysians are liars (see TG's open letter). Tomorrow looks like being the worst day in the history of Cardiff City FC. And to think that I've already spent £419 on next season's ST. The worzels will be laughing their heads off, and rightly so. Cardiff City will be the joke club of football.

Here we go again, another stupid thread.

Adapting is not selling your soul and changing the KIT colour is NOT losing our f*cking identity.

Our identity is the stadia, the club name and heck us fans.

Quite right, your house doesn't lose its soul or identity because you redecorate the living room in a different colour? The address will always be the same and the same people will still be living in it and if someone else is paying for it all the better.

No. I preferred when we were in league 1 and the dungeon actually.

Less plastics more hooligans.

Ill only believe the 100m when I see it as well.

Quite pathetic a shareholder will only invest if he can change the colour and nickname tbh.

I agree with the last line, but it's something we have to take on the chin and adapt.

We dont have to.

I think some long standing fans are in for a shock come the new season.
