We has local business people running us not long ago in PMG
Being local doesn't make them good or better.

Football has changed in everyday and not for the better. We either move with the times or get left way behind now.

Even if we were at Ninian park in league 1 it still wouldn't be as it used to be.

Should have explained myself better Luke, I meant a sugar Daddy Luke like Dave Whelan who absolutely love their club. These types are very few and far between now.

Dave Whelan is looking to sell Wigan, so even the local hero doesn't go on forever.

Ninian park was falling down, we were also going to have our capacity cut due to us not being ale to afford to put seating into the grange end, we had no choice, a new stadum was our only way out. Arsenal moved from their historical home with no problems, so did Man City and Boulton, Chelsea have applied to move from stanford bridge, West Ham have applied to take on the olympic stadium, all of these with far, far greater history and sucsess than w ever had at ninian park!!!!

Fully respect your opinions but football is a business these days and your either in business or your watching pub soccer on a Sunday. Progress has a price that has to be paid but please remember in 80 years time when the Cardiff City Stadium is being pulled down for a new one its only the fact that the Malaysians have stepped in and saved our club that made those future 80 years possible.
I will not stand in the way of anything that puts on on a firm and sensible footing and lets my grandchildren and their kids enjoy watching the Bluebirds for decades to come.

Not necessarily, I know my words will seem shallow but Swansea City is a model that all clubs should follow, Premier League football delivered without debt and built on solid foundations, a new manager will continue the ethos and should the worst happen, we'd be in a strong position to have another crack at winning the Championship the season after next.

The change to CCS was necessary, however, the change to red is not. What is the actual reason we are changing anyway?

1. If it is Malaysian investment and wishes why don't their national team play in red if it's so important to them? (Their second choice kit even has blue on it but no red on either)?
2. If it is for added Chinese investment, if blue is so unlucky and red so important how come there are more blue teams than red in the Chinese Super League? (5xRed, 6xBlue, 2xGreen, 3xOrange - very honourable for so many Chinese sides to bite the bullet and wear blue  ).

There seems to be no good reason other than one man wants it. No point being called the 'Bluebirds' when you play in red. Just emphasises to EVERY OTHER club out there that we are the sort of fans who will do anything to play the likes of Man United and Liverpool, Wigan, Stoke and Swansea week in, week out.

When I served in the forces, other fans would take the piss 'cos we were a shocking football team playing in the lower leagues but they could never question our PASSION and FERVOUR. Well now they'll see it as the reverse. Better hope that the success comes with it but whether it does or it doesn't our fans will be seen as a bunch of sell-outs.

Of course what you're really doing by accepting this change lying down is saving the club from extinction, whereas the likes of me just want to kill it and consign it to history in all it's blueness. Basically the Malaysian investors who I have up until now adored and applauded for what they have done to keep my club alive are holding the club hostage with a red or die stance and anyone who accepts it is playing the part in the old western film where the rail-road company offers you money for your land when your grandfather built the plot and your running straight off to the bank. Film over.

Notice these plans weren't announced before the season ticket sales...then we may have had an opportunity to see the true feelings of the fans (either way). All I know is I spent the last available penny that I worked bloody hard for on two season tickets in the Canton Stand and those seats will be empty next season.

It's just a colour - well if it's just a colour it don't need changing, does it?

It's not our club anymore. I hope the majority of true fans never step foot in the CCS again until something is changed. I know I won't.
