DO YOU GO TO AWAY GAMES

Tue Jun 05, 2012 6:27 pm

Most seasons I will attend usually 80% of away games along with many other loyal bluebirds, our away kit will be blue, job done.
We will be playing against teams in their stadiums in front of an average of 20,000 rival fans, our average may be close on 2,000 at away games (bubbles and restrictions and a good run at least) we will play in blue, we can all wear blue and we can sing bluebirds all during the game. Will anyone feel awkward doing that, mind you, in my experience only around twenty per cent of our fans wear club shirts to games anyway!! perhaps next year we can all wear our new blue ones to get a fix.

At home we will play in front of twenty thousand plus home fans and if last years anything to go on, an average of 500 away fans, now if the team are in red, we can still make our blue identity background etc well known to the away fans, wear blue, sing blue think blue, job done.

Here's one fan not changing his tattoo's yet.

I find away days are ten times better than home games weather it be the crack, atmosphere, or no pressure of being at home. I would rather watch us away than at home thats how ive felt for two seasons.

I'm looking forward to away games more than ever. :ayatollah:

Do you think the Malaysian will walk if they turn up to games and see a sea of Blue and fans chanting Bluebirds.

I know this might sound daft as they are succesfull businessmen and millionairs but I honestly dont think
they realise the significance of a teams colour and nickname untill the season starts.

Say they come to a game and there are thousands wearing Blue, waving Blue Scarfs, Blue Flags
and shouting Bluebirds and even say singing anti red songs, lets be honest, this has potential to happen do you
think they will think, oh feck, maybe this was the wrong idea.

How is it going to look in the stands, you are going to have people in blue and people in red at each others throats,

Have they realy decided to roll with it based on a poll of 355 supporters club members?

its all a mess mate, I dont know what the answer is, no one will know untill August the 18th I suppose.

Not missed one in 9 years come August... Look forward to home as much as away. Colour of kit doesn't really bother me.

I love away games but due to me being a foster carer and being associated with ''risk supporters'' i have had to give them up, and maybe it might also be due to the fact i have got a slight tendancy to get a tad drunk...alledgedly

but i may take a few in next season, i may drive to them instead :ayatollah:

Do you think this is part of Vincent Tan's business plan?

We will be the only supporters out of 92 clubs which actually changes our colours depending on weather we are home or away. All supporters could have Red for home and Blue for away meaning that the club shop gets to sell double the normal amount :D

If they put the money in as equity they will not be able to walk away - would need to find a buyer for their shares to get their money out :ayatollah:

You should try hiding your identity to throw the authorities off, wearing red works a treat apparently ;)

I don't think that counts for anything if I'm honest. This whole Red thing has something or other to do with the Far East, so as long as the players turn up in red and are seen on TV, the rest is imaterial.
