To the Pro Blues

Tue Jun 05, 2012 6:04 pm

Will you be down there next season? Because as far as you are concerned, it will not be the same club anymore if we change and progress, so why would you continue going? Why pump money into something you've become disillusioned with?

Surely it couldn't be the chance that PL football could be there soon. No that is definitely not it.

Wonder how many of you parasites will boycott champ football in red, but come crawling back when we reach the prem in red. That will be the true measure of die hard change haters.

Re: To the Pro Blues

For some of us the PL isnt the be all and end all.

If you supported City through the 80s and 90s you might understand.

I wont be there blue or red ive become disillusioned with this generation of football and its supporter.

Re: To the Pro Blues

Tue Jun 05, 2012 6:12 pm

Can't see us getting to the premiership any time soon so won't have to worry about that for a while. But I don't think I'd come back for premiership football. More likely to come back if Cardiff are still in Championship or worse and crowds start to dwindle.

PS The only parasites are those willing to sell their soul in the feint hope they will see the likes of rooney and aguero.

Look mate, whatever peoples opinions are they've a right to them.Though I'm pro-investment and will suffer the rebranding I don't think the tone of your post helps.Unless I'm mistaken you are trying to wind people up.

Dont worry the whole post stinks of hypocrisy seeing as you cry about being insulted yet start a thread off insulting those who dont share the same views as you.

No. Just harshly questioning them and their commitment, whether they are going next year should we change and in the future.

Like I said, I'm questioning them on their views not irritate them. Difference between own business and public opinions like the ones being voiced here. Who am I? Who is anyone to question? Why can't anyone question others, no matter who they are? Being unquestioning is a bad thing.

Pro blue, pro bluebirds, pro cardiff city fc. The red, dragon and malaysians can go and sling their hook for all I care, and if that means not going to the PL and languishing in the lower leagues, then so be it.
One thing is certain tho, through all of this crap, I will be there next season starting with Forest Green Rovers. :ayatollah:

Nah. I can embrace change. Stop using that word deliberately to make people feel bad. And I've conceded parasite was a poor phrasing.

Re: To the Pro Blues

Of the people I have spoken to the fans who are most vocal about not changing are those who remember the club in the 80's and 90's. A few who have also seen them through the 70's and late 60's are more willing to the changes if a little upset by them.

Those who only know the 00's are the prem generation and only see football support being measured by success.

I suppose the older fans are fed up of the lack of success and would like a bit of a return on over 40 years of support.

Polo, that's really disappointing to hear.

The club needs fans like you - the people who've been loyal through thick and thin.

Don't let all this put you off - I know you say it's not about the colour, but don't get put off coming for any reason.

I am for the colour change but really don't like any gloating on behalf of those who support the change (if that's what actually happens).

We need all our fans, whatever decision is made :ayatollah:

Die, ive never felt so disconnected from the football club.

Back in tbe day it was one for all, all for one but having used the forums and attended the CCS ive realised I just dont like this generation of succes at all costs football and the soccer am generation supporter.

Maybe this turning red is the excuse I need cos lets be frank here wether the name is Cardiff City or not comr August when we run out at the ccs in red and black thats not the Cardiff City Ive loved for 20 years.

I guess you can't force people to abandon their beliefs and ideals. What I don't get is why they are so disillusioned. Its a fact of life, change happens. And many positives have arisen, most prominently , very little hooliganism. Unless that was the appeal back in the day, which is just weird, taking pleasure from fighting. ( not a dig btw )

The Lad - Who are you calling a 'parasite'?

I have supported CCFC since 1968. Already paid £419 for a season ticket for next season. And, as it happens, am against changing our first colour to red, and getting a dragon as a badge. Nothing unusual about any of that, but calling people 'parasites' because they disagree with you?

How can you question people's commitment? I'm pro blue and watched this club through the real bad times, along with many others. That was real commitment. Watching a shit team every week in a shit league. Not like it is now but give me those days everytime. At least all city fans were together!!

I don't see myself as pro blue more ANTI PLASTIC.

Lad I though better of you to be honest. But then again your one of these student types who couldn't give a Terry toss about those like me who have followed this club through thick and thin. I thought you were different to the other young plastics, I thought you understood football is NOT all about the premiership. It's clear to me you want to see the likes of Gerrard and Lampard at all costs. Well f**k you.

It's clear to me you have made this thread to antagonise older fans, not only have you labelled me us as Dinosaurs in the past but now parasites. You need to learn the vital skill of respect, it will take you far.
