'Wear Blue For Cardiff'

Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:10 pm

They cant stop you wearing Blue and they cant stop you chanting Bluebirds.

Whatever happens it is surely going to get messy, the fans need to accept all view
points and respect each others wishes to be in whichever camp they feel.

Me, im in the Blue camp and will make an effort to wear Blue to
all home games as Im sure many others will.

All this is doing is dividing the fans and its so sad to see.

Spot on!
I wore my Blue Jersey for 49 games last season,(home and away) and hopefully will wear it for as many next season.
Red or Blue camp for me? I see it as, red for Welsh games and blue for Cardiff games.

Let's all accept the change and money to go with it, but if 22k wear blue for every home game and keep chanting bluebirds what can the club do about it- BAN US

Definitely going to carry on wearing last season's shirt to our games, never buying a f*cking red shirt.

Re: 'Wear Blue For Cardiff'

I think it will be good to see many contunuing to wear blue, as that's part of our tradition.

I also think many, especially the younger element will will start to wear red, and if we get success, red will slowly take over.

Some will always doggedly continue to wear blue, which will be fine.

The only thing I hope is that fans don't turn on each other for wearing a particular colour.

If we continue to play in blue (at home) then I will continue to buy our shirt each season. Forever blue.

IF we do change to red at home, you could always buy the blue away shirt.

When ive been on away trips very few people have had a replica kit on anyway.

People should wear what they want at the end of the day.

And the other thing you can do to really show them,is pay at the gate with old money, you know pounds shillings and pence. Is it still a shilling on the Bob Bank. ;)

Its not about showing anyone anything Gwyn, its about sticking to what I believe, and that is that Cardiff City are Blue
and changing to Red is ridiculous.

You seem to be ok with it and that is fine, but I cant do Red sorry, Red is the colour of Bristol City to me.

No prob fella, all tongue in cheek and understand where you are coming from, a lot of us hurting, I didn't want to change colours, but made the decision early that it was a bit of a now or never choice and we ,ay not get another chance to finally get some stability :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The tongue in cheek piss take about old money ( and I was a paper boy in those days and collecting the moeny when we went decimal was mental  ) the amount of people that were going to refuse to use decimal money and stick with the old money cracked me up, we even had a shop (I kid you not) in Cwmaman that refuedto take new money and stated they would carry on with the old, lasted about two weeks.

I even suggested at the initial meeting that the way to peaceful protest was along the lines you have suggested rather than protest marches etc.

I know what you are saying mate, maybe in time I will change, but right now cant get my head around it.

Its all Iv ( and everyone else ) have ever known is Cardiff City, The Bluebirds, Blue Army.

I want the same as everyone else, the best for Cardiff City, and for future generations to have a team to support. If that means
us playing in Red its something Ill have to deal with I guess, but right now, I hate the idea, but at the end of the day
what will be will be, Im just fearfull of when or where the changes will end.

Just have to wait and see what tomorows statment brings
