I'm for the changes, but want to respect all those in the other camp, as we're all CCFC till we die

Call me a cynic, but I would say it is very easy to be so accepting of different views when you know you are going to get your way.

However, you have to accept that on this one the 'let's stay blue at all costs brigade' are in the minority.
What i hope happens is if the re-branding does go ahead, that people like yourself continue to support Cardiff City and try and convince people that you were right in a logical and inoffensive way.
Unfortunately however i cannot see that being the case with some of the posters on here.

I agree with this - the last thing I want is for us to lose any supporters at all over this issue.

It is inevitable though, the loss of supporters. Even if they keep attending matches, they will never have the same 'fire and passion' for the club as they had in the past. Our glorious away support will suffer too, and I don't mean in terms of numbers.

Can't agree with your statement, as although we may well lose some of the Blue at any cost diehards, but if the proposed investment is forthcoming and we bolster our team with some decent signings, there'll be a lot of new fans who will suddenly decide to get up off their armchair to watch us play in whichever colour, home and away!

As I have clearly inferred, there us a vast difference between the level of support "diehards" could provide, compared to "armchair" fans who tend to view live football as they would in their sitting room - passively
