So name me a club who doesn't think about money. Like it or not that's how football at the top is these days. Clubs would rather just avoid relegation just as long as they stay in the Premier League than win the FA Cup or League Cup. Clubs would rather finish 3rd or 4th in the Premier League to qualify for the totally inappropriately named Champions League than win the FA Cup or the League Cup. I hate this attitude but thats today's football. I don't want to end up back in the lower divisions with small crowds thanks very much. I endured all that and don't want it again. I don't care what colour we play in. We will still be Cardiff City, former FA Cup winners, FA Cup finalists, League cup finalists, old Div 1 runners up, ECWC runners up. The club who beat Real Madrid. That's what a club's history is about. It's not about the colour of the shirt. If it was we would still be playing in the Riverside colours and would never even have played in a blue home shirt. Come to think of it we would still have been called Riverside.
