Whats the story with ray ranson?

Ive never followed anything to do with him so not sure what we owe him and why?
By what i gather if we sell a player over a certain amount he gets money but how much and how long does this deal last?

It's since been renegotiated but no idea what the amount we owe them is.
Basically they get a %age of any player sale (again dont know how much).

However no interest in now charged on the loan so selling a player now had no real benefit other than paying the debt off earlier.

I'm pretty certain I've read a few times anyway its any player who leaves for a fee.

It will get paid back, he would have had a payment from the chops sale and if Gerrard and Keinan leave that's further payments.
Players will want to leave from time to time so it will get paid its just not urgent for us.

I don't know, I think the initial debt was 1.5m but with huge interest. I have no idea what they settles on when they renegotiated.

Anything over 3million goes to him. probly why we dont sell many players and let players runt here contracts down or have done in the past.

Read Peter Ridsdale's book "United we fall". The mechanics of the deal are in there,,,,he did the same while at Leeds Utd!

Anyt transfer fee received over £2.8m and all of it goes to Ranson until his debt is cleared is my understanding of the deal.
