Tablet PC Help

I'm thinking of getting an Ipad 2 or similar (budget of £300 or so).

Anyone got any advice on which to get. I need to be able to use at home for internet and to take away so kids can use and mrs can add photos. Heard lots about different ones but havent got a clue!
