It's been around for many a year it's not just Somalis who chew it, it's legal to buy in Britain but illegal in the USA, Canada and plenty of other countries. It costs between £3 or£5 a bundle and it's sold in shops also from the back of cars etc, it's funny to see them racing when the new batch comes in the get the freshest and best looking Khat,mthe strip the bark of and I think that's what gets them high in butetown they have KHAT houses where 20 to 30 men will sit day and night chewing and spitting it's horrible nasty stuff. Many taxi drivers chew whilst on duty to keep them awake also many of them have gone crazy it's like amphetamine. It should be banned
