Yes he was absolutely destroyed in his match with Carl, but his actions since the fight have been commendable and respectful to and for the Sport,which has been tarnished of late.

After being soundly beaten he gave Carl a standing applause in the ring, and in every interview I've seen has made no excuses as to why he lost the fight.

And he has now said he does want a rematch with Carl belt or no belt.

Further proof that he does it for the pride and not the glory.

no geezer cant find a quote anywhere only praise for froch. loaded gloves my arse bute had fought nobody of any worth and one of the fights he was almost knocked out by a nobody and only a hometown referee kept his unbeaten record intact

Ive scoured the net and I've only found praise for Carl's performance.

As for Bute being ruined, thats a bit wide of the mark in my opinion, Bute will come again, he said himself he underestimated Carl before and during the fight and he thought Carl would be a broken fighter after the ward fight.

Lucian has lost the fight, Froch deserves the victory, we would not return it. By cons, a question comes to mind since the end of the fight: why Froch did not remove her gloves in the ring? It usually does. After fighting against Andre Ward, Glen Johnson, Mikkel Kessler, Andre Dirrell, Jean Pascal, etc. ... Saturday, he even made the post-fight interviews with his gloves!

Another detail that reminds me a lot in recent days, it is the meeting I had with an inspector who brought us the gloves before the fight. Bute was very poor IMO did not look a Champion in any way. Was Froch outstanding or was Bute really poor ?
