Hope that puts a few minds to rest

If he does then he must be confident of boardroom support to get in what he needs. ;)

Don't rely on it too much !

But it would really be a good sign if he did stay given Norwich are basically lying there legs open for him.

Yes, I know this is far from certain, but if he did stay after being offered the Norwich job, that really would be a good sign, in my view. Let's hope your text is correct. :ayatollah:

malky out earns lambert already and with norwich looking to cut costs they might do a swansea and get an assistant manager from a prem club. eddie newton for example

Malky would want to tke his backroom staff too.

So £3-£5m compensation for Malky and probably a couple of million more for the others.

Ian Culverhouse, Lambert's asistant might be in with a shout.

How long is Malkay's contract? Norwich would have to compensate Cardiff to the value of what's left of MM's contract so I can't see being as high as £5m.

There is no way that Norwich would want Malky to be their manager.
They will go for someone with Premiership experience.
The bookies make Malky favourite because someone has got to be favourite to get the market started.
There are a lot of managers available at present who are far more qualified than Malky.
In the long term Cardiff are a stronger option than Norwich, in Malky's mind.
He has the opportunity to build City how he wants to, on and off the field.
