If Malky does go, I would try and get Bellamy in as player manager with Ray Verheijen as his assistant. :ayatollah:

Why? Don't you think that's a good suggestion if Malky did leave? I don't want Malky to go by the way.

I think its a terrible suggestion.

Bellars has caused umpteen managers problems, hes a loose canon, who isnt mature enough to look after himself let alone manage a football club of our size.

No. No. No.

The same could have been said of Di Canio before he took Swindon up. Bellamy managing his home town club plus playing for us with his physio/Gary Speed's former assistant Ray Verheijen guiding him with his wealth of experience would work I think. I could also use Dennis Wise as an example when he was at Millwall with Ray Wilkins as his assistant. Millwall got to the FA Cup final under that set up.

Bellamy as manager is just a stupid suggestion.

Lee Clarke for me, although it doesn't matter because Malky aint going anywhere! ;)

if malky does go, im really not bothered who the new guy would be.....

mid table prediction, another year of rebuilding , a decent cup run , pushing the top teams just after xmas. playing the most horrendous football on the eye from mid jan with the exception of a couple of games keeping in touch with the play offs to the end..

its groundhog day!
;)

to be honest malky going to norwich to me does not show ambition. ok premier league for now, but i dont see them improving on this season as i personally think it was the poorest prem league for a few years, with many teams under performing.
if malky is as good as people make out then he should be aiming higher.. plus i feel he has unfinished business here..

Like I said, Di Canio and Dennis Wise seemed stupid suggestions until they were given a go and look how well they did? Why? Because they are young managers with fresh ideas, they aren't dinosaurs and this is why malky is so good. I hope Malky doesn't go, but I honestly think Bellamy would be fine as our player manager as long as he has an experienced assistant with him.

Paulo Di Canio is 43 ffs not 32 and he had to start from the basement.

As for Denis Wise whats he doing now if hes so great?

Starting threads like this is almost tempting fate that he'll go!
Nothing short of disaster if that happens.

Superb manager, hope he reins for yrs to come.
If he goes, let's swoop for andy legg!! Ha
