Over the years I have seen many very poor footballers in a city shirt Howver one I would class in this section of poor players in his time at city was Steve Lynex but I really liked as a player He seemed to be all effort but nothing ever seemed to go for him or he was just crap
I remember him coming and he had formed a lethal partnership with Gary Lineker He scored 67 goals for leicester scoring in something like one in every three and half games However he scored two for us and something like one in every 34 games
I loved the ironic chant of Lethal Lethal Lynex
do you have any players you liked who fitted this mold

Pike had a better goals per game ratio than Toshack at city, though what you say about him is true, how many times did he miss from three foot ?

Earnshaw every one likes but crap.
Jason perry was crap but liked his effort

I thought Millar and Perry were quite good players.
For me it has got to be Eddie Johnson and Darren Adams. I'd welcome Eddie Johnson back to the club any day, better than Miller who is crap and I don't like.

Oi Millar was class and don't you forget it. You won't see many players putting in the effort in driving rain, freezing cold down in Brighton on a Tuesday night!

Has to be lethal Lynex for me. He was at the tail end of his career and seemed to have lost his touch and pace was long gone. But he was always up for it and would usually put in at least one challenge every game that would earn him a straight red these days. Lynex provided some cheer on the terraces at a time when, on the pitch, things weren't great for City.
