Malky is a traitor

Fri Jun 01, 2012 10:42 am

To watford fans anyway........will he become one for cardiff fans?

I don't think he should move clubs again to be honest. However Norwich is a club very close to his heart, and I would not have been at all surprised to see him leave us for Norwich had lambert left for burnley last year.

Can i ask one favour? Please do not take Sean Dyche from us.

He left to better himself and if he leaves cardiff to better himself good luck to him aslong as he goes about it in the correct way.

This! If I was offered a job further up the ladder I'd take it, wouldn't you?

I hope he stays of course

Spot on mate, we're all loyal to the cash.

My only gripe is folk who come out and say they won't go, ten minutes later they are gone. Just be honest.

I hope he stays, but certainly wouldn't consider him a traitor if he did leave.

He wants to better himself, we know that. The question remains - will it be with the Bluebirds or Canaries?

If he leaves for Norwich then I won't be surprised and I'll wish him luck... Premier League football and everyone seems to love him up there there. I'll be so gutted if he goes though.

Massive pressure keeping a club in the premier league, if he fails it will be calamity. He has to deal with the Grant Holt ego/problem. Not much time to get his ways through to the players, we gave him a season, he won't have that luxury. He may be sacked by February and his reputation in tatters.

He will stay....

If Malky does go, I for one, won't be going on the messageboard of the club he goes to calling him a traitor or wishing bad luck on the club he goes to. Managers, like players, come and go....that's life. No promises on Dyche though :ayatollah:

No disrespect Hornet fan but Malky left you to go to a bigger club. Norwich admittedly play in a higher division but I don't think they are a bigger club than us. Size of stadium and fan base etc. I am just hoping Malky wants to continue the good progress he has made here after just one season. If he got us to the premier league he'd be revered as a kind of god around here. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

someone made a good point on another thread, malky left watford after one season in charge and if he leaves us after one season aswell how will that look on his CV ? would you employ someone who clearly has commitment and loyalty issues?
norwich will almost certainly be in a relegation battle next season, who would employ malky if he was sacked?

I think what bothers Watford fans is that they don't really see Cardiff as a step up - in fairness they have a point in recent history as I can remember them being 2-3 divisions above us .

However we have come on leaps and bounds in the last 10 years and are now one of the better supported and successful Championship sides with a lovely new gorund and decent support form the boardroom.

watford fans probably stilll see us as a side punching above our weight.

There will be City fans who feel the same about Norwich if Malky goes. Personally I really would like him to stay as there is a job to be done here and I really like the guy and have faith in him. However if he goes then good luck to him, you can't deny a guy ambition.

Norwich might be in the Premiership but I really dont think they can be classed as a step up from us. Next season they will be in a relegation battle and the following year back in the Championship.

They are so rich that Grant Holt has recently tweeted his intention to leave because they wont pay him any more than £9k per week. Rumour has it that we pay close on 3x that for a striker.

Norwich might be Premiership but there membership of the Premiership is only a loan. Us, on the other hand, have good things just around the corner.
