So it doesn't activate when you connect you phone to your computer when iTunes is open on your desktop??

2 things:

Firstly check that you can access the internet.
Check your Apple account details. When you access your Apple acount from a device you've not used before they ask for you to verify etc. Just make sure you can access your Apple account from your shItphone.

First thing to try is a full restart. Hold down the main button just below the screen and hold down the power button on the top until it powers off. Give it a minute and switch it on.

all you had to do to take a jailbreak off was to connect to itunes and click restore!

Anyway, now that you are in the Itunes logo loop - you need to follow these instructions:

1 open itunes.
2. Connect iphone to itunes.
3. once phone is connected to itunes you need to put it into DFU mode.

To do this you must press and hold the Home and power button together for 10 seconds, the screen will switch off. Keep holding both the buttons for a further 3 seconds, after those additional 3 seconds, release only the top power button - but continue to hold the home button - until -

4. itunes recognises your phone in DFU mode with an on screen prompt. you can then release the home button as well. Now click restore in itunes, and you should then be ok.

let me know if all is well after that.

5. once iphone has restored, it will then prompt you to sync from a previous back up to re-install all your settings and apps etc etc .
