Like it or not: Administration

Thu May 31, 2012 6:06 pm

Althrough there are too many individuals with vested interests maybe the best way forward long term is to go into administration and wipe the slate clean once and for all.

Have you forwarded your advice to Borley, TG, Tan & co ?

But, you can only come out of administration if you can get the majority of share holders to accept a settlement, and can you see either of the two main parties involved accepting ten p in the pound to help Cardiff City carry on with a clean slate, I'm sure that sounds so attractive to the money men involved.

As Ken bates said when it put his offer in for Leeds. They either accept it or they get nothing at all.

Administration should be the LAST port of call and avoided at all costs. So many other financial implementations even after exiting administration - not to mention the -10pts league bonus!!!

Forget it.

I agree with you if we went into administration there are too many vested interests for us not to imerge from it.

However, there are new rules on clubs going into Admin and the penalty is now a lot higher than a 10 point reduction.

If I was billionaire (like Tan) and had invested 40m into a Malaysian club then when my plans to invest a further 100m but change the kit an badge was met with racism and talk of burning the welsh flag I'd instantly put them into administration and not accept a settlement and do what I could to liquidate the ungrateful racist barstads.

I hope Tan is more honourable than me though and keeps us going whatever the colour.

Tan is an honorable man ,and he must surely know that the racist idiots were firmly in the minority.most were not even city fans but people seeking a reaction via twitter or whatever

What is the deal with 7% interest.

I'v posted this about 5 times now and no one ever rebuffs it but people always seem to ignore it

4% interest is what's required for someone to break even on money lent out.

7% would mean a slight profit.

If we were to borrow money from any other source we would not get interest rate offers anywhere near as low as 7% because of Cardiff's piss poor credit history.

Because of the club's perilous situation it makes sense to charge some interest to guarantee at least some money back in c case it does ever go down to the admin route.

Love the talk of administration, when liquidation would be a more likely outcome.

If the £72m debt is true it would be liquidation butt...not administration. :ayatollah:

I agree entirely with you, but many others just seem to ignore this point.
