FOOTBALL MANAGER 2012 HELP!

Right, I got 4 games left and need approximately 7 points to reach the playoffs with Torquay United and all of a sudden we have gone absolutely shite. We can score goals but keeping the back door shut is a MAJOR problem, I havn't kept a clean sheet in 9 games and all my defenders morale is abysmal.

Anyone got any tips on how to concede less goals? I don't want to rotate because all my other defenders are bollocks

Tough situation!. Go for it and play 4-3-3. 4 defenders, 1CM, 2 wingers either side of him, then 3 centre forwards. If you go 2-0 up in the first half. Take off one of our strikers and bring on a DM or another CB.

Currently working for me and i've just won the league with Colchester who were meant to finish 10th.

click new user and select to manage the remaining 4 teams and set their formations as 0-0-10.

Save the game before every match and reload until you win them all

considering your in a rush to get the playoffs, try googling FMBASE for a quick fix tactic! there are some right good ones on there, that will ensure you concede less, score more and you could even use this tactic in the playoffs and the next division if you get there!

I pulled a Cardiff first save I ever had. Lost in the play off semis and the club went into financial meltdown. Was awesome.

Exactly what I did.






At least I was offered a new contract at the club... with no transfer kitty and half the wage budget and expectations of promotion.

On your tactics page ... bottom left hand corner you got 2 boxes, Workload & Additional Focues area ...

Workload - Sets how hard you want them to work

Additional focus - Area of tactic you wanna improve on.

I've always alternated on teamwork (so the squad can gel), attacking movement & defensive positioning

Rene got 33 goals in all competitions as we made it to the JPT final and lost to Sheff Utd AET. Got him playing as a target man alongside Donaldson from Newcastle Reserves who plays as a poacher. Already signed Akpa Akpro from Rochdale ready for next season
