Really hope he isn't offered the job... He loves Norwich and got a feeling he'd want the job

lamberts definetly resgined, all over the norwich messageboards aswell
malky with his norwich links and probably being the most promising manager outside the prem was always going to be installed as the favourite
hes got a contract to 2016-the compensation would be astronomical especially for a club like norwich
im slightly concerned of course but confident malky will stay with us

Lots of candidates for the Norwich job (including Steve Bruce who has connections there) wont require the compensation payment they would have to pay for Malky.

I hope you are right mate

They can't have Malky unless our board agree to let him go right?
Thu May 31, 2012 10:47 am
It'll be Bruce or another proven consolidation manager that they go for
they won't want to get into hard negotiations with a manager who contract runs until 2016 and is building something here.

He could just resign then. And if they stand in his, which I doubt they will, he can take action against them.

yeah good point

i'm not bothered that much if malky decides to leave, the jury is still out on him for me, next season we would have been able to see more whether he's quality or not, last season we were fantastic up until xmas playing some good football but after xmas the football was dire and i know we had a small squad but he made it even smaller by picking the same players all the time, but i do hope he stays

Allegedly Lambert offered his resignation but the board rejected it,PL is currently in talks with Villa,a well known source at Norwich will reveal the candidates in the Express tomorrow morning but distanced them from Malky saying most of the people MM had relations with when at Norwich are not involved in these decisions.

If Norwich accept lambert's resignation they won't get any compo.
