Malky and Norwich

Thu May 31, 2012 1:28 am

i can honestly not see Malky leaving Cardiff! i think he knows this club is destined for big things and he's done so much in so little time!... yes he's got great memories with Norwich but i think he loves Cardiff to much to walk away now! he only just signed a new long term contract with us, i can't see him leaving! :ayatollah: hope im right cos he's a great manager and all the fans love him!

but i might be wrong, we'll see! this will be a test of his loyalty, and it might give us a clue to whats happening with the club! if he leaves there's probably something wrong, if norwich approach him and he rejects it then the malaysians must be backing him :ayatollah:

He's got a 4 year deal left here and has 3 years of managerial experience.

Chris Hughton is at a club with more financial difficulties was an assistant for about ten years and a managers for two.

Hughton, Di Matteo, Holloway far more likely to be on their radar.

I think your spot on there but when it comes to our cousins out west be prepared for Huw The Spew to make a call, not because he will be interested but because he will enjoy stirring the pot. I think Swansea will target Holloway as his teams play the same style of football.

I've said elsewhere that Malky will basically be the next Norwich manager should Lamber leave. Everything is in their favour to take him from us unless VT gives Malky the pot of money to hand pick his own squad.

Holloway or Poyet to the Jacks and Houghton or Poyet to Norwich.

Malkay is a Bluebird or is it a Dragon. ;)

Not only would he have to go back to Norwich, but he'd have to move all of the back room staff he has persuaded to move down here with him. I don't think he'd dismiss the idea out of hand, but essentially it is a sideways move to a team that happens to be in the PL at this time. I suspect that his next move, whenever it happens, will be to an established top 8 PL team - he could even end up being Brendan Rogers successor at Liverpool!
