Newcastle prices- what's your view?

Wed May 30, 2012 12:50 pm

So it's £15 for season ticket holders (adult) and £20 for non season holder for our friendly against Newcastle Unoted on August 11th. What's everyone's views on the prices?

Too high, would have actually made more money if they had charged less. Perhaps £10 an adult and £5 for concessions. It would increase the attendance significantly as many people, including myself, will not be paying those prices for a glorified training session.

Far too high, should have been around £12, £10,

Sadly now will be around 8,000 this should have attracted more than that :?

Should of been a £1 for a Kid and £5 to £10 for Adults, its no more than a training exercise. For about 30 years I never use to miss a friendly at home, the last 10 years, I have gone now and again, they are very very boring. I love the away friendlies though.

Will not be atteneding for that prices should have been £8 Adults £2 Childs then filled the stadium and made the most out of selling merchandise as its before the new season kicks off etc new shirts ...

Would have probably paid a tenner but not fifteen.

Can't recall a particularly exciting home friendly. Normally dull affairs with numerous substitutions on both sides and often trialists who disappear never to be heard of again!

£15 quid is overpriced and agree with what most of you say above :ayatollah:

£8/10 would have been reasonable for Adults and a quid for the kids :ayatollah:

At last I agree with you...I believe both managers get together prior kick off and agree no physical contact in case of injuries, only half decent friendly in recent years was against Celtic when we openned the stadium...some naughty tackles from the dirty twats.

It's a clever ploy by the club to hook the significant plastic element of our support. Many people in South Wales have recently donned the famous black and white and become plastic geordies.

So to the true Bluebirds, lap it up and let the money role in. Like Annis said it's a training match, lets hope Newcastle get relegated soon so we can watch them down here for real :old: :old:

I'm not happy with the away friendly fixtures to be honest, apart from Barry Town, thats probably the only decent out of them all.

We should be looking at playing Merthyr away (they are our feeder club afterall), Port Talbot, Llanelli and Haverfordwest. Never been keen on home games during pre-season, but at least playing Welsh teams away, we'd always have a good turn out.

i personally think 15 quid is ok... should be a kids offer though especially as its school hols etc..

i would expect to see around 10-15k there to be honest.. if we make some good signings people will want to see them.
