Probably to replace Paul Quinn, and bring in back up options incase first team players are injured and to further generate competition.

back up most probably... or either competition with Kev or a replacement for Turner if West Ham have bid!

out of those three i'd choose McNaughton
but i think it'll be Turner if he leaves

800k seems a hell of a lot for a bench warmer

Nobody hopefully, I wouldn't sign him personally but if he's in a City shirt I will and hope he proves me wrong

I don't think Turner will leave, or more to the point, Malky won't let him leave!

For a start Keogh would be a brilliant signing he is a quality full back. Also, he is far too good to be on the bench and I highly doubt that he would come here knowing that he is going to be back up to McNaughton, who I think is much, much better playing at left back. Kev is a quality defender but I think that he was so much more consistent for us when he was at left back, even though he is right footed I think left back is his best position. Back onto Keogh, this guy is class he has been player of the year for Coventry for the past 2 seasons and I think - although don't quote me on this - in his final season at Carlisle before he joined Coventry, he was player of the year for them as well. If he signs then he will add extra height to the back four as he is 6ft 2 and he can also play in central defence, although he is much better at full back. I hope that if we sign Keogh then we will have him at right back, McNaughton at left back and Turner & Hudson in central defence. If I was Malky I would do everything possible to try and sign Luke Chambers from Nottingham Forest, who is out of contract in July and pair him in the heart of the defence with Turner. Personally I feel that a back four consisting of Keogh, Chambers, Turner and McNaughton would be excellent.

Kenny Miller with any luck.
And I know he's a f*cking defender but he'd score more goals than King c**t up front
