Confusions reigns over Blue or Red???

Mon May 28, 2012 12:49 pm

Cards on the table i want to stay Blue and so i suspect do 99% of our fans plus i want the 100 million investment and Premiership football if possible or though that's not the be all and end all of the matter.

Problem is you can't always have everything you want in life and some times you have to make compromises but at the moment there is a lot of confusion and i read threads saying we are selling Whittingham :o and West Ham are going to bid for Turner who would probably go :( . Then i read we are bidding near 6 million for Rodrieguz which if true doesn't sound like the actions of investors who are about to pull out :?:

The bottom line is until we know exactly what is to happen we cannot make any decisions has fans as to whether we support any proposed changes and the implications if we do not . However meanwhile we all support the same Club and we all have different opinions those opinions should be respected whether you agree with them or not.

When the Malaysians make that decision i personally believe they should spell out all options with the positives and negatives of each option then ballot the 17K season ticket holders who are the life blood of this Cub to decide the way forward.

Personally i hope they decide to keep the blue kit at home with our badge and the Bluebirds nickname and play in red away and still invest heavily in the club but has i said you can't always have everything you want in life but let's all wait and see what happens next and remember meanwhile whether Blue or Red we are all CARDIFF CITY FANS :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

There is alot of logic in that which I have to agree to, at the end of the day all that really matters is the City :ayatollah:

That would all be very nice and I'm sure there isn't a fan who wouldn't disagree that's how things should happen.

However, we don't live in a lovey dovey world, we live in cold reality one where you simply don't get something for nothing. We still see fans saying they 'don't' understand the change from Blue to Red, it's not needed etc.

However, this has been explained countless times. If you want to break the Chinese market Red is your weapon of choice. Yes you might still sell loads of Blue shirts if successful, but Red (with a Dragon motif) will sell all the year round, successful or not.

So VT is not going to be interested in the opinions of 17,000 season ticket holders (total investment around £5m) when he is planning an investment of £100m based on a business plan involving Red shirts.

Totally respect your opinion Tony but someone posted that the most successful team in China plays in BLUE not sure if it's true but if it is it does make you question the whole Red thinking.

There were also some fantastic shirt designs printed on this site which were an infusion of red and blue incorporating a dragon design I have always felt that compromise is the key but only time will tell.

Something clear needs to be said by the owners about next season, the kit and money.

Surely it's overdue considering all the drama :old:

Agreed it's the lack of an announcement that is partially responsible for some of the wild speculation and in fighting :(
