Ok ive played some games over the years from the double on the spectrum to the finest about rite now championship manager for me. Whats other peoples thoughts on the best they have ever played, i can think of loads of old ones but these days the only three i know off that people play are below

The old Championship Manager was great, but since SI left to create Football Manager then CM is only a shadow of it's former self. In reality, FM is the old CM

I cant choose. I love playing FIFA 12 because it is much faster and less frustrating. But I also love FM12 because of how in-depth it is and all the possibilitys. Although it is very frustrating when your players do stupid things like wait 10 seconds just to make a small pass, then the attack is over.

But the one I've had the most enjoyment out of is probably Pre Evolution Soccer 2008 or 2004. The old Pre Evo games were so much fun compared to the football games that come out today. I used to love smashing them in from 40 yards with Roberto Carlos

You can license it up within a few weeks, the presentation and usage of the UCL license is superb and it actually plays like a game of football.

Ive played manager games since Championship manager 98/99 and Football Manager is by far ahead of the pack..... Championship Manager was amazing until SIgames (the developers) left and created Football Manager.... By FM 12 NOW.....

FM is the best for the career mode and managment side of things but FIFA 12 is so much better for actually playing the matches.

However, Grand Theft Auto was a great football game. You get to play Joey Barton in it.

Has to be Fifa, but i've played FM abot 3 times and looks way too complicated.

Subbuteo much better than sitting in front of a computer screen.

I'm feeling old saying this but for me they have all become a little to complex and take to long to play. It bores me now.
