Do SI still use a fan from each club to keep their squad data fresh and detailed?

I used to do it for the City before they split with Eidos and everything was up in the air.

Football Manager is STILL the best simulator out there. Eidos kept the Championship Manager name and built a poor, very basic game for the low concentration generation.

Anyone remember the original Football Manager back over 25 years ago. Only lasted a few years but was mind blowing for a budding analyst who loved football.

So you start a new thread to attempt to get support on your theory of CM being superior to FM?

CM used to be the Dogs Bolox but in case you hadn't heard Eidos and SI Games split. Eidos kept the game name and SI kept the Game code..

Meaning a new coded game was released under the name CM whilst the original Game was released with a new name FM.

So in the end you're not a plastic because you play CM and the biggest selling football game on PC and Mac, FM and all it's plastic buck teeth bopping followers are wrong.

Shit, so for all those years I was scouting our youth system so that the City data was as accurate as possible, I was actually letting top league clubs identify future stars? I hang my head in shame.

The data editor on some of the CM ruined the game although i would put the stadium capacity up and some stats on a few players up also or even go the full hog and move world classes about to cardiff on 200£ a week

What are the current incarnations? I assume they are the obvious 2011/12 seasons but are the full data games only on the PC's or are they on consoles and handhelds as well. Wouldn't mind the ease of an iPad version but assume its a cut down version.

Yeh FM12 is 2011/12 season and you can use the patch for Jan transfers included. There's also FM Handheld on the iPod and iPad, like you said it's a cut down version no where near as good as the full version as you'd expect and it's pretty expensive (£7?) for an app but I think it's pretty good.
