Went a couple of seasons ago. Think we actually got beat on the day. They had a lively bunch on lads either side of the away stand. Decent stadium also.

went there once in 2003. long trip, horrible police who want trouble but a nice stadium and good atmosphere.

Been there a few times. Nice town. Some good pubs. The supporters pub is by the train station I think, so no City fans allowed in there

They've got some game lads ,outside the away end there is an embankment and it always happens there

january 2003, it didn't get postponed, we lost 1-0.

Went years ago, won 3-2, Cohen griffiths scored the winner.
Excellent day that was.

Only about 100 of us went up and when we scored each goal one fan was doing a silly John Cleese walk and when we scored the winner we all did it.

When i went there we got off the bus to find all the police in riot gear with their identification numbers blanked out right nasty bunch. When we got out after the match they were herding fans on to the nearest bus when we tried explaining that we had all come on different buses and were from different areas of South Wales they responded by drawing batons and threatening us has they all seemed to think we had come from Cardiff and it didnt matter which bus we got on


Absolutely no trouble with Huddersfield fans that day but South Yorkshire Police were thugs in uniform

There were 4 coaches of us that went to Manchester in the day for a drink then caught the train to Huddersfield. On arrival at Huddersfield there were loads and loads of coppers in riot gear - Why? We were herded past a Huddersfield pub where the Huddersfield fans smashed their own windows out. They could have herded us to the ground, why past their local pub?
IT WAS A POLICE SET UP. The police then drew their batons and started to batter innocent people and shout - This is for the Miners strike you Welsh bastards. Cardiff fans were covered in blood.
After the game I tried to get to my bus but was pushed onto another bus. i said thats not my bus its going to North Wales and has I tried to go towards my bus, I was hit in the face with a trucheon by a copper who had no number on their uniforms!!! WANKERS COME TO MIND!!!
Next years game could be a bubble trip - who knows?

My first game there with City was 82/83 season, never missed one since.

Always great atmosphere/ love drinking there but sadly their police are a bit over the top.

Hoping this'll be our Boxing Day fixture. Favourite ground, up that way for Christmas. (Never seen a football match there mind , only Rugby League.)
