Did The Jay Bid Go In?

Sat May 26, 2012 7:12 am

I understand it went in yesterday.

Now if there were leaks when it was just a rumour, surely a bid would hit the press as you can now add the club and the player to that of his agent in wanting to advertise to the Premiership that bidding has begun.

Understand from who ? Why would someone want to conclude the information to you ?

It was reported earlier this week that both Fulham and Everton had bids in the region of £6m turned down by the Championship club, as they believe Rodriguez should fetch at least £8m.

I was called all sorts for saying what i was told on the phone from a friend of an agent yet yourself and craigCCFC (part time questiion dodger) slated me for something thats here TODAY :ayatollah:

Think you'll find that you weren't slated for stating that Everton and Fulham had put in bids, but merely asked where you got the info from, that they had submitted cash only up front bids, which you went all around the mulberry bush to avoid answering!

You could just have easily have given out the information that you have now provided, when Craig asked you! :ayatollah:

The problem was, that you were avoiding the question when asked about the specifics of the cash only up front bids, which you avoided answering!

Nobody expects, or should expect that a poster would completely divulge their source, or put their source in a compromising position by divulging sensitive information, but by avoiding the question in the manner you did, made it sound like bullshit! :) :ayatollah:

I only asked the question because of Carl's post...

In that quote it also mentions that the bid was higher than the £5.5Million mentioned.
