Just goes to show that having a nice shiny new stadium doesn't guarantee anything.

would you rather be Darlington, or play in red?

If i remember correctly Darlo were averaging about 2,000 at Feethams, then go and build a 25,000 all-seater stadium. Why :?

And as some fans would like to see us, rather than see us in red and have a dragon on our badge.good luck boys, turn the lights out on the way out, or will we see you also in August or will you wait till we are top of the league, and then turn up, that will make you a plastic then. Deal or no Deal.

He made his money in 60s as a safe blower apparantly. Dodgy as they come. Clubs like darlington are life blood of lower leagues. without darlo, rochdale, halifax, crewe we would not have the big 4.
